THE DESIGNER

Kit Kemp has an individual and original approach to designing her fabrics and trims collection. Her use of colour and attention to detail celebrates craft and captures the imagination. Kit treasures her working relationship with Michal Silver at Christopher Farr Cloth in making her design ideas a reality.

Kit Kemp MBE has forged an internationally-acclaimed reputation for her unique hotel interiors as Founder and Creative Director of Firmdale Hotels and a design practice, Kit Kemp Design Studio. In addition, the studio has a thriving textile, fragrance and homewares business. Furthermore, Kemp has authored several best-selling design books and is a champion of British art, craft and sculpture.
