We work with like-minded artists, designers and makers to produce all our fabrics. Our collections include styles suitable for indoor and outdoor use, featuring handprinted linens and woven fabrics that can be used for curtains, upholstery, walling, and commercial interior projects.
Karoo draws inspiration from Indian textiles and the traditional art of hand-weaving. Envision the design as a sketch, where varied lines and patination are translated into the woven form, creating a unique and intricate woven pattern.
Little Weed, a true gem of a weave, offers a contemporary twist on traditional designs. Its interplay of geometric shapes and intricate details evokes a sense of modernity, making it a versatile choice for both classic and contemporary interiors. Kemp’s thoughtful insight into Little Weed reflects its versatility, “this is a great upholstery fabric. It can be used on both sides to different effect. It is neat and lyrical and fun. It will look so different in a contemporary or traditional setting. It can achieve a lot in a small repeat and it looks like a Little Weed.”
In collaboration with Veronique de Soultrait, 'Mikado' is a hand-guided curtain-weight fabric on a cotton base cloth. Inspired by the childhood game of ‘Mikado,’ this fabric captures the simplicity of a basic motif in repeat. Drawing from Veronique's memories of learning to stitch with her grandmother, she transforms simple elements into luxurious patterns, reminiscent of wrapping threads around nails to create intricate designs. The technical process of the rice stitch adds depth to this enchanting fabric.
