Nendo is a Japanese design studio founded in 2002 by Oki Sato, a Canadian-born Japanese designer. The name “Nendo,” meaning “clay” in Japanese, reflects the studio’s philosophy of creativity, adaptability, and flexibility - shaping ideas with subtle refinement. Known for their minimalist aesthetic infused with wit and subtle humour, Nendo’s designs often use simple forms to surprise and delight - what Sato calls a “!” moment. The studio works across a wide range of disciplines including product design, furniture, architecture, interiors, fashion, and art installations. They have collaborated with leading global brands such as Louis Vuitton and Cappellini, and have been named Designer of the Year by prestigious institutions including Maison & Objet and Wallpaper magazine.

In collaboration with Japanese design studio Nendo, we introduce a new textile collection, ‘Sky Drops’. Inspired by the ephemeral beauty and movement of rain, the collection explores the shifting moods of rainfall through five distinctive textile designs, each capturing a unique atmospheric quality.
