COLLECTION

OLAF HAJEK

Renowned for its dedication to colour, pattern, and artistry, Christopher Farr Cloth is proud to collaborate with Artist Olaf Hajek on a collection bursting with whimsy and playful charm. Celebrated for his vibrant, surreal illustrations and collaborations with Hermès and Fortnum & Mason, Olaf creates richly imagined worlds of flora and fauna, shaped by imagination and a strong sense of visual storytelling. His expressive imagery pairs seamlessly with Christopher Farr Cloth’s instantly recognisable palette and meticulous attention to colour, making this collaboration a natural and intuitive meeting of artistic languages.
I was lured into Olaf’s folklorish imagery where he explores the concept of beauty through narratives rich in flora, fauna and mystical creatures. There is a magical realism to his work with its explosion of colour, abundance of detail, texture and story telling which takes me back to one of my favourite books, 100 years of solitude by Gabriel García Márquez.
