Twice a year, we reimagine our flagship showroom and collaborate with leading artists and designers to transform the space into a curated installation. Each iteration is entirely different from the next, unveiling a distinct design story and offering a fresh lens through which to experience our fabrics, wallpapers, trims, and rugs.

BARZILIAN MODERNISM

HUBERT ZANDBERG

Hubert Zandberg presents Modernism, a celebration of Brazilian modernism, at our King’s Road showroom, where mid-century architecture and design come together.

Brazilian modernism has long been a defining influence in Hubert’s work. His extensive personal collection of Brazilian furniture and art, alongside a deep appreciation for the country’s architectural legacy, forms a key part of his aesthetic. This installation draws directly from that connection.

FOGO ISLAND WORKSHOPS

The Christopher Farr showroom was transformed into a quiet, powerful tribute to place, heritage, and community through our collaboration with Fogo Island Workshops. Designed by Ernst Hupel, a resident of Fogo Island and founder of 2H Interior Design, the installation featured a selection of wallpapers and fabrics from our Fogo Island collection.

Lauren transformed our King’s Road showroom into a vibrant, expressive space, combining our A/W 23 collection with Kit Kemp with a curated selection of fabrics, wallpapers, trims, and accessories.

To introduce Christopher Farr's Howard Hodgkin rug collection launched in 2023, Laura Fulmine, founder of M.A.H. Gallery, curated The Gallerist’s Home at our King’s Road showroom, celebrating the transformative power of art in the home. Hodgkin, renowned for his expressive brushstrokes, sought to connect with viewers through emotional engagement. Fulmine, inspired by Hodgkin’s work, created a serene yet warm gallery-like space that intertwined the emotional resonance of his art with a diverse selection of M.A.H.’s artists.

To celebrate the versatility of our custom colour service, we collaborated with London-based designer Henry Prideaux on a bold and beautifully composed showroom installation. Working closely with our in-house team, Henry reimagined a selection of our most iconic designs in fresh, contemporary hues.

To mark our collaboration with the Josef and Anni Albers Foundation, Christopher Farr Cloth invited 8 Holland Street to reimagine the King’s Road showroom using the now-archived Anni Albers collection. The installation was both memorable and artful, with reupholstered vintage furniture, curated artworks, and ceramics bringing new life to the space - all set against the bold geometry of Child’s Check wallpaper.
