LAURA FULMINE PRESENTS 'THE GALLERIST'S HOME'

To introduce Christopher Farr's Howard Hodgkin rug collection launched in 2023, Laura Fulmine, founder of M.A.H. Gallery, curated The Gallerist’s Home at our King’s Road showroom, celebrating the transformative power of art in the home. Hodgkin, renowned for his expressive brushstrokes, sought to connect with viewers through emotional engagement. Fulmine, inspired by Hodgkin’s work, created a serene yet warm gallery-like space that intertwined the emotional resonance of his art with a diverse selection of M.A.H.’s artists. The showcase featured Hodgkin’s Indian Sea alongside pieces by emerging and established artists, with Fulmine using Christopher Farr’s textiles, such as the Indian Sea rug and the archived Anni Albers’ Verticals wallpaper to complement the artwork. A central daybed, sculptures by Kelly Jessiman and Noe Kuremoto, and ceramics by Charles Antoine Chappuis added to the space’s dynamic energy.
