OUR STORY

Art, design, and creativity define the house of Christopher Farr Cloth. Founded in 2000 by Michal Silver, together with partners Christopher Farr and Matthew Bourne, the brand has championed the finest materials, traditional artistry, and a spirit of innovation. Today, our meticulously curated collection encompasses exquisite fabrics, captivating wallcoverings, and passementeries. These embody a deep reverence for time-honoured textile production techniques and an intellectual, yet playful approach to design.
At Cloth we weave not just fabric, but stories, values, and a vision for living with intention and authenticity.

A UNIFYING THREAD

Our distinctive palette of recognisable hues acts as a unifying thread, weaving together the genius of a diverse array of artistic sources and archives. Each design is born from an ongoing dialogue with our collaborators.

We take pride in offering a range of print, woven, and performance/outdoor fabrics, each representing the pinnacle of craftsmanship. Our print fabrics captivate with vibrant colours and intricate patterns, while our woven textiles showcase craftsmanship in every thread. For those seeking durability without compromising on style, our outdoor and performance fabrics stand as a testament to both function and design.

TRADITION & ARTFUL EVOLUTION

With an unwavering commitment to quality, our print collection is crafted by a group of artisans at a family-owned print mill near London, England. Our woven textiles are produced at mills in Italy and Belgium, where we explore new weave structures and push the boundaries of innovative yarns. At Christopher Farr Cloth, our legacy is a

testament to the harmony between tradition and innovation. It is where artistry meets craftsmanship, and design knows no bounds. We warmly invite you to explore our world, where each fabric, wallcovering, and piece of passementerie tells a story of boundless creativity, enduring passion, and timeless dedication to the art of textiles.
