A MARKED MILESTONE

This year, Christopher Farr Cloth marked a milestone, celebrating twenty-five years of creativity, collaboration, colour and craft. To celebrate, we gathered collaborators, designers, editors, and friends in our Creative Director Michal Silver’s historic Chelsea home. Once a chapel, later a recording studio for icons such as The Rolling Stones and David Bowie, the house provided the perfect backdrop for an evening of reflection, conversation, and celebration.

The night unfolded in true Cloth spirit: detailed, elegant, and colourful. Guests dined at tables dressed in our most iconic prints, with napkins embroidered in silver, each inscribed with “CLOTH TWENTY FIVE.”

AN ANNIVERSARY COLLECTION

To mark the occasion, we unveiled a special anniversary collection: five chairs and six quilts designed by some of the visionaries who have shaped our journey. Martin Brudnizki, Kit Kemp, Ron Arad, Julian Chichester, Alice Kettle and more, each brought their own creative language to these pieces, which together form a gallery of artistry, collaborative design, and innovation.

From intricate craftsmanship to bold experimentation, this collection is more than a celebration of our past journey; it is a promise for the future. It embodies the values that have guided us since the very beginning: integrity, artistry, and the belief that true luxury lies in creating with meaning.

THE CLOTH JOURNEY

The story of Christopher Farr Cloth began in 2000, when Michal Silver, then moving from fashion into the world of interiors, walked into the Christopher Farr's and Matthew Bourne's showroom open to a new opportunity for starting her own business. It was a chance encounter that sparked a partnership, blending Christopher’s instinct for design with Michal’s eye for textiles. What began as a new venture soon became a movement: bridging cultures, reviving historical patterns, and redefining what it means to create with legacy in mind.

Over the years, collaborations have remained at the heart of Cloth, working with leading designers, architects, and artists to weave together perspectives from around the world. From archival treasures to contemporary statements, our fabrics, wallpapers, and trims carry stories that endure far beyond the moment.

LOOKING FORWARD

As speeches were shared, by Matthew Bourne, long-standing collaborators, and members of the Cloth team, it was clear that our story is one of connection. Every pattern, every partnership, every piece of fabric is a thread in a much larger tapestry: one woven together with creativity, friendship, and trust.
