Strata at Two Temple Place

Strata at Two Temple Place

Autumn Winter 2026

Woven textiles that trace the colour, structure and history held within Atacama, the Gobi, the Sahara and the shimmer of desert mirage. Strata takes its name from the layered earth itself, where stone, sand and minerals settle over centuries to form striking bands of colour and texture. Each design reads like a cross-section of the landscape, its depth found in texture, subtle pattern and details that reveal themselves the longer you look.

For this series, Strata finds itself at Two Temple Place, where the collection’s quieter, organic layers meet the intricacy and ornament of one of London’s most remarkable interiors. A study in contrasts, but also in detail, material and the beauty found in looking closer.

Tourmaline Velvet

100% cotton velvet with a deep, soft pile that catches the light and lends every shade a subtle lustre. Available in seven colourways.

Mirage

A double-width hemp and linen blend with a subtle, shifting metallic surface, evoking the illusion of water shimmering across the desert.

Gobi

Woven with multicoloured, heathered yarns, Gobi draws on the mineral tones of a landscape once crossed by the ancient Silk Roads.

A Change of Perspective

For Autumn/Winter 2026, three Christopher Farr Cloth classics have been reimagined through colour, reversing their original palettes to dramatically shift the mood and character of each design.

Sahara

A tactile blend of jute, recycled polyester and merino wool, its natural texture recalls the shifting, rugged surface of the North African desert, which it's named after.

Atacama

Woven in double-width from a hemp and jute blend, the design pairs an earthy tactility with a quiet herringbone structure, reflecting the raw, rugged landscape of the Atacama Desert.

NEW Strata Cushions

A new collection of Cloth Shop cushions brings the colour, texture and layered character of Strata into tactile form, pictured here against the historic pews of the Great Hall.

And Objects x Christopher Farr Cloth

Our collaboration with And Objects continues to evolve, with new tactile weaves by Martin Brudnizki and Nicholas Jeanes joining the collection for 2026, expanding on the studio’s distinctive approach to texture, material and timeless design.
